"I believe one can live many lives through personal style. Everyday is an occasion to reinvent yourself." - Ralph Lauren

My mother taught me to sew when I was 12. By the time I was 14, I was making my own clothes. Below is the very first gown that I made for a church pageant. (pictures forthcoming) I was 15. I was also crowned district and state YPWW Queen!

By the time I was 18, I had two weddings under my belt - all of the bridesmaids dresses and one wedding dress. She bought me my first sewing machine with the proceeds from the wedding. I still have it. I also sewed for her, making her 4 suits for the COGIC Women's convention in 1990. Once I moved away from home and started working full-time, I stopped sewing. After a 9-year hiatus, I'm back at it again; this time, developing my own line.

Latest Looks

Lately, I've been designing with Dutch Wax. l am in LOVE with the colour & vibrancy of the fabric! It's 100-percent cotton and has so many possibilities! I made these skirts for my sister and my neice. They modeled them for my first iPhone photography shoots.
