For 8 years CMP, Inc. served as the the premier print design l public realtions l marketing & advertising firm for the City of Columbus, OH Black History Month Celebration. l In 2006, we received an Excellence in Business award from the Office of Mayor Michael B. Coleman for our work on this event!

MEDIA COVERAGE

In addition to designing all event collateral, we wrote and distributed press releases, secured media sponsors and program booklet advertisers. The largest pre-event advertising media package that we negotiated, was worth over $13,000! CMP created the ‘paycheck stuffer’ campaign, selling print advertising and printing leaflets for distribution to all 10,000 City employees. Our campaigns generated thousands of new dollars for this FREE annual event that draws 500 attendees. As you can see, The Dispatch and Alive typically used my design for their ads!
